There will be an information meeting on WVGS Study Groups Thursday, September 12 at 1:00. The meeting will be hybrid (in-person and virtual). Contact sigs@azwvgs.org for the virtual link or if you are interested but unable to attend the Sept. 12 meeting.
There will be two study groups this year. Both start in October and will last about a year:
Level-Up Study Group – Each participant will select an ancestral couple as the main focus of their assignments. Each month they will research one or two types of information about these people. This would include birth, death, marriage(s), children, occupations, land/property, residences, military service, estate, religion, and parentage.
Brick Wall Busters Study Group – Each person will work on one of their brick walls. Each month they will report on their progress. The group will offer positive suggestions. The person will choose one of the suggestions or an idea of their own to work on before the next meeting.
Study groups meet monthly. They are open to WVGS members and are free. Membership is closed after October. The study groups are hybrid (both in-person and virtual). Participants attend regularly, have an assignment each month, and share their assignment with each other
