Databases:

WVGS membership includes access to several prominent genealogy databases. Using the computers in our lab provides free access to millions of images of original records from all over the world. With the pandemic, the companies involved have allowed remote access for our members (at least until December 31 2021).

  1. Ancestry.com
  2. MyHeritage.com (permanently available remotely)
  3. American Ancestors.org (New England Historic Genealogical Society)
  4. Fold3

If purchased separately the database subscriptions would cost well over $500.
