Carefree Day Trip – Saturday, January 17, 2026

This day-trip will combine the history of Arizona with ardent mysteries, prehistoric or recent history, settlements, native peoples and more, depending on where you go. How it works: You pick up your packet at the library. It will contain driving instructions, map, and a detailed history of the region you are about to see. You will meet others on the trip for lunch to discuss what you’ve seen so far along the way. All you’ll have to do is sign up. Take your spouse or friend and lots of photos. Then send them to all the members of your group.
For this trip to Carefree, luncheon will be at at the English Rose Tea Room, where you will experience an authentic English High Tea. There will be the magical flavors of many types of teas, with petite sandwiches, scones and sweet delights.
In additional to historical sightseeing, it should prove to be a fun, exhilarating and enlightening experience.
