At the April general meeting, Lou McLean read a brief essay on teamwork written in 1972 by Robert McNeish. We don’t have the space to include the whole essay here but it was a lovely tribute to the teamwork our volunteers display. They fly together because each volunteer then makes the team stronger. When a team leader gets tired, a fellow volunteer steps up to make sure activities can continue. And all team members cheer each other on because that’s what keeps us all going. A Society which has thrived for 50 years TOTALLY on volunteer help is certainly a concrete example of teamwork in action.
Thank you, each and every volunteer, for the teams you lead or support.
