Seen in the Desert Tracker: A Panel of WVGS Writers

Topic Description:
All four panelists have published one or more articles in the Desert Tracker. The panelists will discuss:
- why they selected the topic or subject,
- their preferred writing style,
- research they did,
- whether they documented their sources and how, and
- whether their original writing required lengthening, shortening or other editing for the Tracker.
They’ll also give suggestions for writing and submitting an article to the Desert Tracker.
We also have WVGS members who have written genealogical books. They are invited to display their book or books before the business meeting and during the break. Please contact dir.education@azwvgs.org if you are a current WVGS member and wish to display your genealogical book.
In-person meetings are held at the First Presbyterian Church located at 12225 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. (click here for map) – will open in new tab in your web browser)
Please arrive after 12:30 pm to sign up for classes, SIGs, or the 2024 Seminar, ask questions of a Board Member or Committee Chairperson, etc. Note: We will not be offering coffee at this time.
The short business meeting will start at 1:00 pm sharp followed by our featured speaker.
