Presentation Description: “Finding Religious Records in the Western World” provides you with an overview of the history of religious calendars, types of ceremonial records (BMD) and other records for you to consider, the importance of historical research and websites that may assist in researching your ancestors.
Denise Beeson developed the Genealogy Program and teaches semester long classes as an Adjunct Instructor at Santa Rosa Junior College in Santa Rosa, California. She also teaches short courses in the LUX Program at Whittier College, the Lifelong Learning Program in Pebble Creek in Goodyear, Arizona as well as at the City of Goodyear and the Maricopa County Public Library system. She is a member of the Sonoma County Genealogical Society and the Pebble Creek Genealogy Club. She holds a MA in Communications/French and a BA in Speech. Genealogy has been her passion for over 20 years.

Please arrive after 12:30 pm to sign up for classes, SIGs, or the 2022 Seminar, ask questions of a Board Member or Committee Chairperson, etc. Note: We will not be offering coffee at this time.
The short business meeting will start at 1:00 pm sharp followed by our featured speaker.
