What can you do if you can’t find your ancestors on Ancestry or feel you’ve exhausted its resources? This presentation focuses on what you may be missing, including underutilized resources at the West Valley Genealogical Society (WVGS) Library. Examples of both physical and online resources will be discussed.

Speaker: Connie Sheets

Connie Sheets earned a master’s degree in education from the University of Missouri and is a retired social service professional with experience in staff training and development.

She began researching her family history in 1980, holds a certificate from the Boston University Genealogy Research Program, and has attended many advanced genealogical institutes in person and online. Connie currently serves as the chairperson of the WVGS Education Committee and is a past officer of both the West Valley Genealogical Society and the Arizona Genealogical Advisory Board. She has been teaching family history and genealogy since 2012.
